I recently joined the S.O.U.L Foundation as the new Executive Director! I am both humbled and very excited about this opportunity! S.O.U.L. has been making a difference in the lives of women and children in Uganda for the past 14 years. In March, I had the privilege of traveling to Uganda with three members of our Board of Directors with whom we met pre-school and sponsored students we support. We were able to attend an antenatal education class and visit area clinics. We met with current and future partners and donors. The parents and community members were excited to see us return after a long hiatus due to COVID-19. Recently we launched our new website - please visit and explore all that we have been able to accomplish with your support. I'll be working with our new Communications and Operations Coordinator, Kiana Davis, and our incoming Country Director, Alex Natuhwera to bring you more updates from the field through this "Summer of S.O.U.L." Children in Uganda were devastated by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their education. At the same time, Uganda has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world. The S.O.U.L. Foundation is working to change this reality for so many students and women.

Our "Summer of S.O.U.L. Campaign" is aiming to raise $35,000 to sponsor 75 students and support 25 of our S.O.U.L. Community Workers to make a difference in increasing educational opportunities and improving maternal health.

Join me in supporting real change! To date, the S.O.U.L. Foundation has sponsored over 700 students achieve their academic dream. Today, we have 75 students without a sponsor. We want sponsors for hundreds more, through this campaign. To date, over 8000 women have received prenatal vitamins, birthing kits, ultrasound scans and graduated from our antenatal education classes. We want to reach 10,000 more in Uganda!
